Cambodian Children’s Fund breaks ground on eco-school

The Cambodian Children’s Fund yesterday control a ground-breaking ceremony for a brand new $4 million eco-friendly college at the previous injured Meanchey wasteyard.

The five-storey Neeson-Cripps Academy – designed on a pro-bono basis by New York’s COOKFOX Architects and funded by Velcro firms – is ready to produce a free education specializing in science, technology, engineering and arithmetic for between three hundred and 350 students once it’s completed in October next year.



The school are fitted out with the most recent property technologies and have twenty rooms together with eight lecture rooms, 3 designing rooms, 2 conference rooms, 2 multi-purpose halls, 2 science labs, pc labs and a multi-purpose production area. A garden and sports courts are set on the roof.

Education, Youth, and Sports Minister suspend Chuon Naron thanked Neeson and Henry Martyn Robert Cripps, former chairman of Velcro firms, for his or her efforts serving to the kids of the previous wasteyard receive a high-quality education.
